11/29: Shawnee County, KS: Client charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery (allegedly stabbed two people). At the client's preliminary hearing the court dismissed all charges.
11/16: Johnson County: Female client was charged with domestic battery against her boyfriend. The Johnson County District Attorney offered client a plea offer of disorderly conduct. Gamble Law, LLC advised client that she should reject the offer and take the case to jury trial. Client rejected the offer. Three days prior to the scheduled jury trial, the District Attorney dismissed the charges.
11/13: Johnson County: Client father received sole custody of his two children, age 1 and 2.
10/01-11/01: Father takes 2 year old from mother without her consent and flees to New Mexico. Gamble Law, LLC is retained by mother. Pressure is applied to the New Mexico law enforcement to charge father with felony parental interference of custody. Father is charged with this crime and ends up in jail. Child is returned to mother in Kansas.
8/20: Shawnee Co.: Received an order of dismissal for a client who was charged with Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a minor.
7/26: Kansas/California: Successfully challenged a child custody jurisdiction dispute between a client's ex-husband who asserted California jurisdiction over the parties child. The case was transferred to Wyandotte County and client maintanined custody of her child.
6/15: Wyandotte Co.: Client received an order of dismissal on a domestic battery charge.
6/12: Cass Co., MO: Divorce trial, client received an award of maintenance and attorney's fees.
6/5: Jackson Co., MO: Client received an increase in child support by nearly 33% plus an order of attorney's fees.
5/4: Wyandotte Co: Client received an order of dismissal on a domestic battery charge.
4/25: Wyandotte Co.: Client received an acquittal after being charged with domestic battery.
4/25: Wyandotte Co.: Client received an order of dismissal on a domestic battery charge. |
